Vida Cabrera is a small family business, we know all our properties intimately and can therefore give you the best advice when it comes to selecting the right holiday property.  We like to do the same with the local restaurants.  We have chosen some of our favourites and hope you like them all as much as we do.

High in the Sierra Cabrera mountains in the village of Cabrera there are two fantastic restaurants and a bar.  The bar El Arco serves delicious home made Spanish dishes, tapas and snacks and if you are staying in the village take away meals can be arranged.  Visitors from far and wide come to enjoy the superb cuisine and stunning views at Los Pastores and if your palate desires something a little different head to Riad Cabrera where Fatima and her staff will cook you up a Moroccan feast.

In the valley below sits the town of Turre and probably the best local Spanish restaurant in the area - Casa Adelina.  During the summer and fiestas, tables and chairs stretch for many meters along the pavement from the terrace of Adelinas as the Spanish arrive in their masses to enjoy the fantastic local fare for which Adelinas is so well renowned.

For a quieter meal head to the golf course at the Cortijo Grande and you will be welcomed with a warm smile and magnificent views at Almazara.  The restaurant is family run and serves traditional fare in a delightful setting.

If it is seafood you crave then there is no better place than Garrucha.  A working fishing port famous world wide for its pink prawns. The seafront promenade is full of cafes, bars and fish restaurants all with the catches of the day on display in the windows.  Our favourite and we think the best is, Restaurant Andalucia which serves the freshest of produce year round.

As in most of Spain, all the restaurants in the area are family friendly and either have a specific childrens menu or will do smaller portions of their usual menu.
